NORMAN — A 26-year-old Norman man was arrested Monday after a robbery at the Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main.
Christopher Lowe was arrested Monday afternoon when police say they located a vehicle matching the description of one that left the bank shortly after the 12:30 p.m. robbery. Police say they found the money and a black bag during the traffic stop.
He was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center at 6:03 p.m. Monday on a robbery complaint.
The bank was the target of a lone bandit in April. David Bayazeed, 56, was arrested in connection with the bank’s robbery on April 19, 2012. He is currently serving a federal prison sentence.
The bank was robbed three times in 2009.
