NORMAN — Norman Police have reopened the Flood Avenue and Tecumseh Road area to traffic after a multicar collision killed at least two people.
The roads were reopened about 1:40 p.m. today.
Two people were killed and two more injured in an early morning crash on Flood Avenue (Hwy 77) today.
Preliminary information indicates six vehicles were involved in the crash.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle traveling south on Hwy 77 crossed into the northbound lanes, which caused five other vehicles to become involved.
Flood Avenue remains closed to traffic from Tecumseh Road to the I-35/Hwy 77. Investigators estimate that the road will remain closed until noon or 1 p.m. today.
