NORMAN — A fire at Presidential Gardens apartment complex displaced some residents Wednesday night.
Norman firefighters responded to a structure fire call around 10 p.m. Wednesday at 1916 Fillmore Ave. No injuries were reported.
“Firefighters had the fire knocked down after about 10 minutes,” Deputy Fire Chief Jim Bailey said.
Bailey said some of the residents were displaced, but the owners of the apartment complex were looking at getting them another apartment or a hotel for the night.
No preliminary damage estimates are available yet. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Three Norman stations responded to the fire with four engine truck companies and about 23 firefighters, Bailey said.
