North girls win soccer Clash

NORMAN — With a goal each from both Lexi Carroll and Blakely Bynum, the Norman North girls captured the first half of Tuesday night’s Crosstown Clash soccer festivities at the University of Oklahoma’s John Crain Field.

Carroll’s tally came with 18:46 remaining as she tucked a 35-yard free kick between Norman High keeper Hannah Mhor and the crossbar. Then, about 6 minutes later, after Carroll struck a laser off the crossbar, Bynum won the chase to the rebound and tucked the ball past Mohr,

The North girls moved to 3-0 on the season while the NHS girls fell to 4-2.
