NORMAN — The Norman North girls are headed to the Class 6A state tournament after winning the area title game, 50-43, in overtime Thursday against Emdond Memorial at Harrah.
Southmoore knocked Norman High out of the postseason with a 49-34 win over the Tigers in the area consolations Thursday at Choctaw. Southmoore will now play Putnam City at 3 p.m. Saturday at Harrah for a chance to make the state tournament.
