NORMAN — No. 16 Oklahoma defeated Texas Christian 3-2 Friday on a walk-off passed ball in the bottom of the 12th at L. Dale Mitchell Park. It was the first game of Big 12 Conference action for the Sooners.
OU’s Matt Oberste extended his hit streak to 27 games in the process. He is now tied with Marty Neff for the longest in program history. Neff set his in 1991.
Oklahoma (20-4, 1-0 Big 12) and TCU (9-12, 1-3) will face off again Saturday at 2 p.m.
